Extractions
Teeth that are severely decayed or broken down, may not be able to be restored. When this is the case, the tooth/teeth may be extracted (removed). Many extractions can be performed under local anesthesia alone. More complicated extractions may require the intervention of an oral surgeon, who may administer sedation in addition to local anesthesia .
If an extraction is required, we will discuss with you options for replacing the missing tooth if replacement is recommended.
